The Publicly Emerging Masters of Wisdom – Bringers of Precious Insight

Throughout history, especially in times of crisis, enlightened teachers have come forth to bestow their knowledge and illumination on the human race. Once again, our Elder Brothers have returned, this time in group formation, to offer aid in abundance.

In our struggle for peaceful international relations, ecological balance, and the improvement of living conditions worldwide we need inspiration of the highest kind. Coordinated mass action is essential, but to adequately tackle the major challenges of the time we must also undergo a change of heart. Bold commitments are continually made by politicians seeking power. Yet without an inner transformation there will be no true progress. Moreover, we have little to no awareness of the subtle laws governing our very existence. Certain principles will unlock the door to a glorious future, but only if they are actually implemented.

What are these unacknowledged laws of life? What key principles must be manifested? Who can provide a higher, unifying, vision to lead us toward real societal change? Amidst the strife and strain, what we need are wiser voices who can help us see life from a deeper level beyond the ideologies so bitterly dividing nations.

As it turns out, there is a group of experienced way-showers living among us, here to awaken the minds and hearts of all who are ready to create a more wholesome society.

The Existence of the Masters of Wisdom

It is well-known to those who study the Ageless Wisdom teachings that a Spiritual Hierarchy — an inner government of the planet — has, for countless millennia, overseen the evolution of consciousness of the human and sub-human kingdoms. This group is made up of individuals who have undergone every human experience and surmounted every difficulty over the course of many lifetimes, thereby achieving a relative perfection in the art of living. After gradually growing out of the human kingdom through an expansion of consciousness, they made their way into the 5th kingdom on Earth.

This ancient Body of Knowers forms the Spiritual Kingdom, or Kingdom of Souls, to use a biblical term. In the East they are known as the Masters of Wisdom. What distinguishes them from the average person is an unconditional love for all beings, a stupendous wisdom evident in their teachings, and a mastery of control on all lower planes of being. Together, these guardians of the race protect and guide an ever developing humanity, sometimes openly interacting with us and at other times working from behind the scenes. Since our free will is never infringed, we have always been in full control over the pace of our own progress.

For the past 98,000 years, the Masters have mentally impressed, and remotely communicated with, the more advanced members of the human race while operating from secluded retreats in areas like the Carpathian, Ural, Himalayan and other mountain ranges. As part of a momentous happening already underway, these exceptionally enlightened men are returning into the everyday world to help us solve our most critical global problems. Under their inspiration, if we choose to accept their advice, we will begin creating a new civilization.

At the head of this group of Masters is the World Teacher, Maitreya. Awaited by various traditions under different names, Maitreya (whose name in Sanskrit means ‘The Happy One’) comes as an educator and spokesperson for all humanity. After emerging from his ancient Himalayan retreat in 1977 and establishing London as his initial point of focus in the modern world, Maitreya has been gradually stepping forward into public view. His emergence has been heralded by numerous miraculous happenings and signs of wonder, providing hope and reassurance for people in all corners of the world. For example, on June 11, 1988 he appeared “out of thin air” in the middle of a crowd of 6,000 people during a prayer session in Nairobi, Kenya. Photographs and reports of the event were carried by CNN and other international media, including the Kenyan Times. Instantly recognizing the tall, white-robed figure as “Jesus Christ,” the participants were filled reverence and emotion.

British author and artist Benjamin Creme (1922–2016), founding chief editor of the non-profit publication Share International magazine, was in constant telepathic rapport with a Master of Wisdom who dictated an article to Creme each month for inclusion in the magazine. The following paragraphs include references to some of those articles. This is an attempt to provide a brief glimpse into the Masters’ intentions, teachings, and plans for life ahead in the new age.

The Public Entrance and Reception of the Masters

In the coming time ahead our Elder Brothers will present a higher way for humanity to reorganize our lives. They will demonstrate “that unity and happiness come from justice and freedom; that sharing is the natural action of unity and the simple answer to all man’s woes.” (“The path of Love and Peace”, Share International, July/August 2006)

We, however, must desire their precious gifts of succor and insight. The Law of Free Will underlying our spiritual evolution prohibits external imposition. Though we can expect some to remain obstinate for a time, Maitreya will offer his wise counsel to all whose hearts are open and find accord with his far-reaching proposals. What will stand out is his depth and breadth of vision. As he speaks his radiant, magnetic, love will pour out in tremendous potency to listeners around the world. While various backwards looking groups and leaders may oppose the ideas — and perhaps very presence — of Maitreya and the Masters, over time even the religious fundamentalists will find it difficult to fault these benevolent Guides and Mentors.

The Masters will help us to transform our cities into beautiful spaces, eloquently designed and run purely on clean energy. A new Technology of Light, revealed to us only after we renounce war and therefore eliminate the risk of self-destruction, will transform our modes of travel and medical procedures. Service to one another, to the planet, and all kingdoms of nature will be seen as the right and natural path toward true happiness. Behind all these changes will be the Masters, guiding us with their gentle, yet effective, recommendations.

As it is said, the presence of just a few Masters among us “will have an electrifying effect on thousands of people anxious to serve the needs of the world”…“An altogether new sense of the need for haste to rectify the wrongs of the past will ensure an intensity of help unknown today.” (“The Master’s Role”, Share International, April 2013)

Under the influence of Maitreya and his group, hundreds of thousands of altruistic people will find their vocation in life as they respond to the “roll-call” for cooperative participation in the mighty task of world salvage.

Maitreya’s Priorities and Colossal Mission Ahead

Maitreya’s monumental role cannot be overstated, yet all are needed for the great undertaking that lies ahead. He will serve as the architect only for the construction of a new civilization. We must, to use his words, become the “willing builders of the Shining Temple of Truth.”

Maitreya’s priorities include, among others, the ending of extreme poverty and hunger; the creation of a new era of peace and right relationship through sharing among nations; an education on the natural laws of life in order to find equilibrium and gain control over our destiny, collectively and individually; an introduction into the Divine Mysteries of spiritual evolution, the signposts and requirements for those who seek to consciously tread the path “back to the source”; the inauguration of the new Age of Aquarius, a 2,300 year long period in which we will build altogether new types of institutions that reflect our innate divinity and focus on group consciousness; the removal of guilt and the fear of death; and a confirmation of the existence of extra-planetary neighbors whose presence cannot be denied.

The mission of Maitreya will truly cover all aspects of our lives. From the Master’s perspective, Maitreya’s guidance will cause humanity to “refashion the world along more just and spiritual lines and thus begin their ascent to the mountain top of achievement.” (“Maitreya’s mission”, Share International, June 1985)

Sharing as an Outer Expression of Our Inner Divinity

Maitreya will initially call for an emergency level program of aid for all developing nations to alleviate the hardest suffering of those in dire need of food and other essentials to live. However, the long term solution involves the implementation of the principle of sharing in our economic, financial, educational and social institutions. The principle of sharing “brings into manifestation the quality of divinity.” When the wealthiest nations choose to share their excesses with other nations who have less, we will discover how quickly our major crises can be solved. Distrust and corrosive competition will be replaced with trust and cooperation, leading to breakthroughs on all fronts. The goal must be the manifestation of brotherhood and unity, with sharing being the ultimate gesture of these divine qualities. When we see this take place, we will enter into a new definition of ourselves and “begin the establishment of the Era of Righteousness.” (“The way to the stars”, Share International, April 2007)

The Laws of Life Underlying Our Evolution

We will eventually come to accept the existence of certain subtle laws governing our lives. The two fundamental laws requiring great attention are the Law of Karma, or Cause and Effect, controlling each and every person’s destiny, along with its corollary, the Law of Rebirth, or Reincarnation, making possible the journey of the Soul in matter. There is also the Law of Harmlessness, governing right relationship, and the Law of Sacrifice through which the process of evolution proceeds.

As we acquire a deeper understanding of these laws we will come to resemble our Mentors who have trodden the path of self-transformation. As the Master says, humanity will “demonstrate the Divinity shared by all. They will hearken to the teaching of the Wise Ones and, step by step, inherit their Birthright.” (“The Laws and Rules of Life”, Share International, November 1999)
